    This graphic took my eye (see below) as it looks at possible power shortages, arising from the near insatiable demand of data centres.

    And of course this feeds back into the story about copper from earlier this morning.

    In this instance, if the data is correct, there is an expected shortfall between power demanded and that available, near term ( to 2028).

    And that likely creates demand for alternative solutions and suppliers.

    Two names that spring to my mind are Bloom Energy BE US, a maker of hydrogen fuels cells/ industrial power solutions. Which is something of a “meme stock”, and therefore a big mover in either direction . Its the upside that gets the attention Bloom Energy has added +474.0% in the last 6 months.

    The other name is Wartsila Oyj WRT1V FH, a Finnish manufacturer of power sources and engines for the energy industry. Wartsila are up by +58.0% over the last 6- months, having won two significant, data centre power supply orders in that period.
