Korean markets have had a good start to 2026 and continue to make gains.

The chart below shows the South Korea iShares MSCI ETF EWY US. The green vertical line is when I wrote the piece above.
The ETF has rise by some +9.0% since we went to print and is up +20.0% in January to date.
