Thinking about investing…

Richard Berry Moderator

Yes, since 30th September 2012 Nutmeg say their managed protfolios have risen by 85.4% compared to 70.9% from their peers.

But beware you are investing so the market can move up and down. You can see Nutmeg’s portfolio performance over time here: https://www.nutmeg.com/fully-managed-portfolios.

If for instance you had invested at the start of 2022 and needed to withdraw the money for Christmas that year you would have lost about 12%

yes was up about 12% over the term of the investment period which is coming up to 4 years..however recent market volatility has dropped that to 5%.

Have been using thematic investing portfolio for the whole period which dca investment approach.

return isn’t that great… before the current dip at 3% a year now it’s only 1%

Therefore thinking about moving to reduce fees which are high compared to some and get more control on my investment.

es, some users have reported positive experiences with Nutmeg, particularly appreciating its user-friendly interface and responsive customer service. For instance, one reviewer mentioned, “Really helpful advice and help when contacting Nutmeg! Easy to do as well. Highly recommended as an investment platform you can trust!”

However, it’s important to note that Nutmeg’s long-term investment performance has been a topic of discussion. Some analysts and user reports suggest that Nutmeg’s longer-term returns (3- or 5-year periods) have been underwhelming compared with peers, which is a risk for retirement planning where compounding matters.
